SOFEC designed, constructed, fabricated and delivered an external turret mooring system for a 272,000 dwt MODEC-converted FPSO. This is the first FPSO installed on the Jubilee Field, one of the largest oil fields discovered in West Africa in the past decade. This is one of the largest external turrets on an FPSO application.

SOFEC designed, constructed, fabricated and installed an external turret mooring system complete with anchor legs, fluid swivels and installation aids.

SOFEC designed, constructed and supplied an external turret mooring system to moor a 52,000 dwt MODEC-newbuild FSO in 60m water depth.

SOFEC designed, constructed and supplied an external turret mooring system to moor a 350,000 dwt MODEC-converted FSO vessel to receive, store and offload oil produced by the PRA-1 Platform and nearby oil fields in the Campos Basin, Brazil.

SOFEC designed and constructed an external turret mooring system to moor a 45,000 dwt MODEC-newbuild FSO located approximately 320km off the Nam Con Son Basin, Vietnam.

This SOFEC external turret mooring system was designed, constructed and supplied for the MODEC-owned “Buffalo Venture” FPSO from December 1999 to December 2004 when operations of the FPSO expired.

SOFEC designed and constructed an external turret mooring system to moor the 149,500 dwt MODEC purpose-built FPSO.

SOFEC designed and constructed an external turret mooring system for a MODEC purpose-built 60,000 dwt FSO in 78m water depth in the Bongkot Gas Field, Gulf of Thailand.

SOFEC designed, constructed and supplied an external cantilevered bow turret mooring system for a 357,000 dwt FPSO vessel to produce the Bijupir√° & Salema fields in the Campos Basin, Brazil.
