SOFEC designed, constructed and supplied an external turret mooring system for a MODEC newbuild 52,000 dwt FSO in the Rang Dong oil field, approximately 135 kilometers southeast of Vung Tau on Block 15-2, Vietnam.
The FSO installed in 60 meters water depth and is designed to have receiving capacity of 60,000 barrels of oil per day and storage capacity of 350,000 barrels.
This SOFEC external turret mooring system is ABS classed.
