Pyreneese FPSO

SOFEC will design, construct and supply a disconnectable internal turret mooring system to moor a 148,500 dwt MODEC converted Suzemax FPSO in the Pyreneese field located in Permit WA-12-R, in the Exmouth Sub-basin portion of the Carnarvon Basin approximately 45 kilometers northwest of Exmouth, Westeren Austrailia. 

The project will include the provision of an FPSO capable of processing 96,000 barrels of liquids per day, and have a storage capacity of 850,000 barrels. The FPSO is planned to be installed in approximately 200 meters water depth.

This unique SOFEC external turret mooring system will be ABS classed.
