SOFEC designed, constructed and supplied an external turret mooring system for a 350,000dwt converted FSO vessel to receive, store and offload oil produced by the PRA-1 Platform and nearby Marlim Sul, Roncador and Marlim Leste fields in the Campos Basin, Brazil.
The FSO is installed in 95 meters water depth and designed with the capability of receiving up to 630,000 barrels of oil per day and having a storage capacity of around 2,200,000 barrels.
This unique SOFEC external turret mooring system is ABS classed.
