This SOFEC CALM system was designed and fabricated to import heavy fuel oil feedstock for a power plant. The fluid transfer system was designed to allow circulation of hot diesel after every unloading.
This terminal was the first of several that were required for local power plants constructed by Comision Federal de Electridad around the coast of Mexico.
