SOFEC, Inc. is a proven, global supplier of marine terminal, turret and spread mooring systems which is committed to minimizing health and safety risks to our employees and subcontractors while safeguarding the environment in countries in which we work.
To achieve this high standard to which we are committed, SOFEC, through management leadership and employee involvement will:

Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, rules and regulations |

Provide a framework that will comply with parent company, MODEC Group HSE requirements, client requirements, applicable codes and standards |

Ensure all employees and subcontractors understand their HSE responsibilities, are trained and have appropriate resources to meet them |
|
Diligently work to prevent incidents and maintain effective emergency preparedness, response and recovery programs |
|
Identify, analyze and effectively manage all risks arising from SOFEC activities |
|
Actively protect the environment in our areas of operation by preventing pollution where practicable, while promoting efficient use of energy and natural resources |
|
Integrate HSE principals into our business practices and commercial agreements |

Our HSE performance will be monitored, reviewed and reported against set objectives and targets to ensure continual HSE performance improvement. This policy is applicable to all projects, subcontractors and SOFEC personnel worldwide.
